Informal Beach Wedding Dress

The beach weddings differ from the traditional wedding with its less formal type of dresses. The good thing in wearing a casual dress is that is is less expensive than those used in other type of wedding.

But how casual should you go? What type of fabric is best for beach weddings? They are just a few of the questions that this article will answer.

- What is casual? Casual wear is one that is laid back and allows for most comfort without looking grungy. So for beach weddings, you shouldn’t wear a dress that is too formal that you’ll look like you’re attending the wedding at the Vatican. At the same time, make it a bit respectable enough that you won’t look like you just got out of your bed.
- What’s the best fabric for beach weddings? As its name suggests, beach weddings are those that are done on the beachfront. With that, you can also expect it to be done during the day wherein the view is the most fantastic. Because of that, you should wear a dress that’s made of breathable fabric. Light cotton will do on these occasions. If, however, you’re the type that tends to sweat profusely, you can buy a dress made of synthetic and breathable material. This type of fabric can wick the sweat away from your body so that you’ll stay dry and comfortable.
- What color should one wear? Unless it is written on the invitation, try to wear the traditional colors used in wedding like black and white. A beach wedding doesn’t mean you have to wear tropical shirts with palm tree designs or wear grass skirts. If it isn’t your wedding and you’re unsure, better ask the couple first just to be on the safe side.

Those are just a few tips that will help you choose a casual dress for beach-themed weddings. Remember that it’s all about being comfortable in the clothes you wear. Again, if you are in doubt, then you should always consult with the couple first before getting anything to wear on that occasion.
