The traditional wedding dress for brides comes with trains. The train’s length varies from a few feet to several yards. It needs other people’s help to be worn well. However, more and more people choose to wear short wedding dresses instead of the long and flowing traditional ones.

Wearing short wedding dresses such as tea-length wedding dresses depends first of all on the bride. If you choose to wear this type of dress, you are sure to raise a few eyebrows from people who think that wedding dresses should be long. But then again, it’s your wedding and nobody’s going to stop you from wearing what you want, right?

Since this type of wedding dress looks very casual, it is often used in outdoor weddings or informal ones. Beach and backyard weddings are some examples of this. If you want it simple, then a short dress is for you.

A lot of brides also choose to wear short wedding dresses for aesthetic purposes. Unlike traditional wedding dresses, short varieties give brides the opportunity to flaunt their lovely legs or shoes. Also, if you look in different online forums, many women say they prefer this because they look cute in it. Well, that’s something you can’t argue against.

But aside from wearing a short dress just to look beautiful, you can also have practical reasons for doing so. Take for example if you want to have an outdoor wedding during summer. It would of course be very uncomfortable for you to wear a long dress in such a condition. So it’s definitely much better to wear a short wedding dress instead.

If you’re the type who wants to break the mold, then a short wedding dress would be perfect for you. Again, others prefer to do it the traditional way, but if it’s not your cup of tea this type of dress will complement your personality.

In sum, there are many reasons why you should wear a short wedding dress. In the end, it far outweighs the reasons why you shouldn’t wear it. So if it’s a short dress that you want, then get yourself one by all means!
